THE DOCTOR, GEORGE POLYCHRONOPOULOS

George Polychronopoulos studied at the Dental School of the University of Athens after being admitted through the National University Entrance Examinations (Panhellenic Exams). In 2004, he received his degree with a grade of “VERY GOOD”. Before his admission to the University of Athens, he received a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY).

He specialized in Orthodontics at Tel Aviv University’s School of Dentistry in Israel, where he was awarded the Bert Levin Award of Excellence as an honorary distinction for his clinical and theoretical achievements.

His specialization program included extensive theoretical study and clinical practice (i.e., patient treatment at the University Orthodontic Clinic) in all modern orthodontic techniques, including Lingual Orthodontics and Orthodontics with Invisalign Clear Aligners.

He received the Dental Specialty in Orthodontics from the Region of Attica after passing the Ministry of Health exams.

He is certified in all modern techniques, specifically:

The MBT technique
The Damon technique (rapid orthodontic treatment in fewer visits)
The Invisalign technique (orthodontic treatment with clear aligners)
for the Incognito technique (orthodontic treatment with hidden braces – lingual orthodontics)
for the STB technique (orthodontic treatment with hidden braces – lingual orthodontics)
for the Orthocaps technique (orthodontic treatment with clear aligners)

He is a member of:

He has participated in conferences in Greece and abroad, presenting papers and giving presentations. His work has been published in some of the most reputable Greek dental journals. He also participates in the Continuing Education Program of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), having completed numerous certified hours of seminars and online conferences.

DR. KONSTANTINA FOUNTA

Konstantina Founta graduated from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1999-2005), where she was admitted through the National University Entrance Examinations (Panhellenic Exams).

In 2009, she received her Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Dental Biomaterials from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She completed her research project entitled “Study of the Wettability of Polyvinylsiloxane Dental Impression Materials by Distilled Water” as part of the Dental Biomaterials program.

She has many years of clinical and theoretical experience in therapeutic dental cases (endodontics, dental surgery, periodontology) at her private dental clinics in Ampelokipoi and Chalandri and as a salaried external associate at other private dental clinics.

She is a member of the Attica Dental Association and the Hellenic Society of Endodontics.
