Lingual orthodontics is an entirely aesthetic treatment because the outer surface—the front—of the teeth remains intact, and is the recommended choice for many adult and adolescent patients, who usually have increased aesthetic demands during their treatment.

Lingual braces are completely invisible during treatment and are currently the most aesthetic alternative available in orthodontics.

Lingual orthodontics can be used to resolve a wide range of orthodontic problems. Its successful application depends to a large extent on the appropriate selection of cases. This means that the doctor, after a thorough clinical examination, taking a detailed history, and studying the patient’s casts, photographs, and X-rays, must decide whether the patient is a suitable candidate for treatment with this specific technique. Lingual orthodontics involves particular difficulties in speech, chewing, and maintaining good oral hygiene, but this does not mean that it is a treatment option that is only suitable for a limited audience.

EFFECTIVENESS

The effectiveness of this technique is comparable to that of conventional orthodontic braces, provided that the patients to whom it is applied are suitable candidates.

FULLY EQUIPPED LABORATORY

We also offer lingual orthodontics with brackets and other types at competitive prices, thanks to our fully equipped laboratory.

Within our laboratory, the lingual brackets are bonded to each patient’s working cast using specialized positioning devices. A transfer tray is then fabricated to help place and bond the lingual brackets to the patient’s teeth.

Laboratory procedures are one of the main factors that increase the cost of lingual orthodontics. However, since we are fully equipped to carry out this process within our clinic, we are able to offer Lingual Orthodontics at very competitive prices.

It is important to note that, at our orthodontic clinic, the cost of Lingual Orthodontics is not significantly higher than that of treatment with metal or ceramic braces.
